B.H.S.S.Beginner Hockey Skating School$75.00 Saturday Afternoons 2:55pm-3:35pm Includes a free Saturday afternoon Public Skating after the class for the Student. Birth Years: 2001-2002-2003-2004-2005 Class Size 25 Maximum – 2 coaches for 25 kids, 1 coach for first 12 Want to be a hockey player? Here’s How! If you’re new to Learn to Skate and just not ready for Learn to Play - then B.H.S.S. is for you! This class focuses on hockey skating and having fun. Skating is the number one fundamental in hockey! If you can’t skate you can’t play hockey! We will focus on the transition from figure skates to hockey skates, striding, edges, turns, stops and much more. Then build you up enough to move you to Learn To Play and then the DYNA-MITES. Five minutes of puck time every class. A limited amount of Hockey equipment is required – (Ice Hockey Helmet with Cage, Stick(straight), Gloves, Elbow Pads, Shin Guards, skates or you can use rental hockey skates.) The skating director reserves the right to deny placement if skills are not yet developed enough in LTS.
