Revolutionizing the way to develop young hockey players!DYNA-MITES 2010-2011Fall/Winter | September-March Mission Statement To create a core group of individuals at the same birth year, develop their skills, and grow friendships for years to come. To move players to the Squirt level with basic skills, knowledge, friendships, and love of the game. History The Dyna-Mites have been one of the largest and premier Mite programs in the area for the past four years. The Dyna-Mites have prided themselves on grooming players for the next level of hockey while instilling an appreciation and love of the game. The Future There have been many changes within the Mite birth year over the past year. The Dyna-Mites have drafted a new plan to provide every player with more ice time. This ice time will be utilized to teach individual skills and develop an understanding for the game of hockey. The Dyna-Mites understand that every on ice session should provide reinforcement of previous information, challenge the players in something new, and leave them with a positive experience. Programs The Dyna-Mites will be offering three different programs next season to cater to each player’s birth year and ability. The Dyna-Mites will offer a Select program for the elite players in the program at the 2002 and 2003 birth year. All players in the program will be evaluated at the first two practices to decide what players will be on the Select team. All other 2002, 2003, and 2004 birth year players will be placed in the Development Program. All players with the 2005-2006 birth year will be placed on the cross ice team. Sun.) 14 Inter Squad Games (Sat.) 20 Games Against Other Travel Teams (Sat., Sun.) 2 Tournaments Practice Jersey End Of Year Party Cost: $1,200 Dyna-Mite Development Program 2 Practices Per Week (Mon., Sat.) 14 Inter Squad Games (Sat.) 2 Tournaments Practice Jersey End of Year Party Cost: $925 Dyna-Mite Cross Ice Program 2 Practices Per Week (Sat., Sun.) 6 Games 2 Tournaments Practice Jersey End of Year Party Cost: $700 Registration How to Become a Dyna-Mite: Stop by Power Play and register, this will require a $300 deposit. Go online to usahockey.com. On this website you need to click players and hit register online. You are registering your ice hockey player for the 2010-2011 hockey season. Bring your USA Hockey confirmation sheet that you print out to your first practice. Purchase your game jersey and socks out of the Pro Shop, U.S Hockey Supply. Show up for your first practice: 2002-2004 birth years will start Monday September 13th at 5:55pm 2005-2006 birth years will start Saturday September 18th at 9:05am.
